Respect Graduate School Hosts Board Training Program
to Strengthen Governance and Leadership

The Respect Graduate School (RGS) Board of Trustees organized a comprehensive Board Training Program on October 14–15, bringing together trustees, administrators, and guests to enhance institutional governance and leadership effectiveness.

The event opened with welcoming remarks by Dr. Sezai Sablak, Chairman of the Board, who expressed appreciation to Ms. Rubina Tareen and her team for their dedicated efforts in organizing the program. Dr. Suleyman Eris, President of Respect Graduate School, delivered the opening speech, sharing updates on recent developments and future initiatives at RGS.

The training sessions were presented and moderated by Dr. Thomas Flynn, Consultant and Senior Fellow at the Association of Governing Boards (AGB). Dr. Flynn led participants through in-depth discussions and workshops focused on building a high-performing board, understanding the strategic role of trustees, and strengthening governance and institutional culture.

The two-day training aimed to reinforce the Board’s strategic leadership capacity and ensure alignment with RGS’s mission and long-term goals. Participants left the program with renewed commitment to collaborative governance and institutional excellence.
