Definition and Methodology

Introduction to Ilm Al-Hal (Ilmihal) is a structured 6-week program that guides students through the essential theoretical knowledge and practical applications of Islamic life from the perspective of young Muslim ladies. Our primary goal is to build a sound foundational understanding of Islamic practices, responsibilities, and worldview, while nurturing a strong sense of identity. Students explore how Islamic teachings align with fitrah—the natural human disposition—and how these teachings support healthier, wiser, and more intentional choices in daily life.

The course is offered in two age groups (11–13 and 14–18) to allow tailored, developmentally appropriate instruction. Weekly one-hour lectures are supported by bi-weekly expert-led Q&A sessions, providing space for reflection, discussion, and clarification on sensitive or complex topics.

Identity & Confidence Building

Students will explore Islamic teachings in a way that strengthens personal identity and supports wise, conscious decision-making.

Practical, Real-Life Application

The program bridges theory and daily practice—allowing students to understand, interpret, and apply Islamic concepts to real situations.

Interactive & Supportive Learning

With Q&A sessions, peer discussions, and reflection activities, students engage actively and meaningfully throughout the course.

Course Structure

This 6-week course combines structured weekly instruction with interactive engagement tools to ensure both clarity and participation. Each week features a 1-hour lecture tailored to the developmental level of the group, supported by readings, terminology exercises, and practical examples from daily life.

Every two weeks, an expert-led Q&A session provides students with an opportunity to bring their questions—whether conceptual, personal, or practical—into a moderated, supportive environment.

Throughout the program, students will:

🔸Access all materials on Google Classroom
🔸Complete short quizzes and reflection notes
🔸Engage in peer discussions or small-group tasks
🔸Participate in case-based learning

This structure ensures that students not only learn ilmihal but begin to live it more consciously.
