Respect Graduate School has rolling admissions. Apply for the upcoming semester. 

Respect Graduate School does not have authority to admit international students at this time. To apply you must be  in one of the following categories:
US citizens
persons with asylum status
permanent residents (green card holders)
persons with DACA status
K-1 (fiancé visa)
Valid H1B work visa holder 

Respect Graduate School provides scholarships to qualified  students in the MA program based on need and merit. Part-time students who qualify academically and have  financial need may be granted 50-70% scholarship. Qualified full-time students may be granted 70-80% scholarship. A very limited number of highly qualified full-time, students who live locally receive more than 80% scholarship.  All of Respect's scholarships come from donations to Respect Graduate School given to support students. Respect Graduate School does not provide federal financial through FAFSA at this time.

Applicants from non-English speaking countries will be required to submit a score of not less than 80 on the computer-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or by an equivalent test. 

Applicants who do not meet the TOEFL requirement may be granted provisional admission at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.

Applicants to the MAIS program are not required to have prior education in a relevant field, neither will such students be extended preferential treatment. RGS values academic diversity and believes that students with diverse undergraduate experiences will offer rich intellectual perspectives.

Yes, classes will be offered on Campus at Respect Graduate School. Please check ‘Course Schedule’ for more details. Students who live near our campus will have full access to our facilities, masjid, and library. 

Student may choose to register as an auditor (Please see). Auditors participate in the course and pay an auditing fee. The professor of the course determines if the auditor must complete assignments. Auditors do not receive academic credit for the course. Students may also take a course for credit as a Non-Degree Student (Please see). Alternatively, students may want to consider one of our non-credit courses in Continuing Education such as the courses in the Qur'an Certificate Program (Please see).

Upon completion of the application online, the applicant will receive an email informing them of the next steps in the process. All documentation marked "REQUIRED" is mandatory and must be received by Admissions before your application is considered complete. All students must be interviewed online by the Admissions Committee after Respect receives necessary documentation including OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS, DIPLOMAS, LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION, TEST SCORES (if applicable), application fee, etc. Applicants are  only considered after all documentation is received and  the online interview completed. Please observe application deadlines so that you will not be delayed in starting your matriculation into the MAIS program. If you apply after the published application deadline, you may have to wait another semester or year to start your studies.

Upload your 2 letters of recommendation to your application. Have your university send your transcript electronically  to [email protected] or have it mailed by your university  to 2200 Industrial Drive, Bethlehem, PA 18017.  Degrees from universities outside the US must be evaluated by WES (World Education Service) or Spantran. You must pay the fee for translation and evaluation of your foreign university transcript. WES or Spantran must send us their evaluation directly.  You cannot send it. See our Admissions Requirements page for more information (Please see).

Please do not send us your original documents as RGS does not return documents. Send copies only. 

You may defer admission for one year. After that you would have to re-apply. To defer, notify the Admissions Officer at [email protected]

Yes, you may enroll as a part-time student by taking one 3-credit course each semester. Once you accept your offer by signing the Enrollment Agreement and paying any fee required, you will be given a Respect email address which you must use for all RGS communications from that point on, and you will be able to set up your student account in Populi, the information system, and register for your course(s). Discuss your course selection with the Admissions Officer, the Dean of Academics , or a faculty advisor to ensure you are registering for the right course.
