The Challenge of Leadership

Course date: December 1 – December 25, 2022

In their brilliant book The Leadership Challenge, James Kouzes and Barry Posner perceive leadership as a challenge that a leader needs to face every-day. Leaders set directions, inspire people, make dreams reality, give us comfort at times of distress, solve problems and nurture the immature as they walk in life so that the immature can eventually be a leader in her own territory. In essence, they transform our every-day challenges into invaluable opportunities.

Kouzes and Posner also define leadership as “the practices that the leaders use to transform values into actions, visions into realities, obstacles into innovations, separateness into solidarity, and risks into rewards.”

In this three weeks leadership seminar titled The Challenge of LEADERSHIP, the participants will have the opportunity of learning the knowledge and experiencing the skills of leadership from true scholars and real life leaders. The setting of the seminar is designed to nurture the young leaders for true leadership both in spiritual and secular realms.
